Brucella IgG ELISA kit detects specific IgG antibodies against Brucella bacteria. The kit works by coating microtiter wells with Brucella antigen, then adding patient serum or control samples. If Brucella-specific IgG antibodies are present in the sample, they will bind to the immobilized antigen. After washing away unbound material, an anti-human IgG antibody conjugated to an enzyme is added, which binds to the antigen-antibody complex. A substrate is then added, and the enzyme catalyzes a reaction that produces a detectable color. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the amount of Brucella-specific IgG antibodies in the sample
