The HBcAb ELISA kit is a diagnostic tool that detects antibodies against the hepatitis B virus core antigen (HBcAg) in blood samples. The kit uses a competitive ELISA technique, where a fixed amount of HBcAg is coated on the wells of a microplate, and patient samples are mixed with an HRP-conjugated HBcAb. The antibodies in the sample compete with the HRP-conjugated antibody for binding to the HBcAg, and the resulting color intensity is inversely proportional to the amount of HBcAb present.
