Testos terone Saliva ELISA kit uses the competitive binding principle to measure testos terone levels in saliva samples. The kit typically involves coating a microplate with antibodies that bind to testos terone. A fixed amount of enzyme-labeled testo sterone is also included. During the assay, the testos terone in the saliva samples competes with the enzyme-labeled testos terone for binding sites on the antibodies. The amount of enzyme-labeled testo sterone that binds is inversely proportional to the concentration of testos terone in the sample. After washing away unbound materials, an enzyme substrate is added, which reacts with the bound enzyme-labeled testos terone, producing a colored product.
