About Scrub Typhus IgG ELISA kit
The Scrub Typhus IgG ELISA kit detects IgG antibodies against Orientia tsutsugamushi, the bacteria that causes scrub typhus, using an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The kit uses the principle of a membrane-based immunoassay where antigens (recombinant Orientia tsutsugamushi proteins) are coated on the microtiter wells, and then human serum samples are added to the wells . If IgG antibodies specific to Orientia tsutsugamushi are present in the serum, they will bind to the coated antigens. An enzyme-labeled anti-human IgG antibody is then added, which will bind to any IgG antibodies already bound to the antigens. Finally, a substrate is added, which reacts with the enzyme, and the resulting color is measured to determine the concentration of IgG antibodies in the sample
